I’m so excited to finally be able to show off the trailer for AVA, a dramatic series I’ve been editing for the past few months. Created by actress/writer/director Catherane Skillen, the series follows Ava, a woman who has it all… until she loses everything. The series is coming soon to YouTube! The following videos were produced for the evangelistic series Reclaim Your Faith. They were used as promotional material on the website prior to the event, and a subset were played during the live show as lead-in's to the sermons. The ones played during the live show were a big hit with the in-studio audience, some of whom were even moved to tears.
I enjoyed making these a lot. Personal testimonies have always appealed to me, and the emotion that some of the interviewees brought was really powerful. I tried to focus on that to give it the biggest impact I could. These were all shot up at Weimar, and they were all AFCOE students except Buddy. The videos were shot with the Panasonic VariCam and two Canon 5Ds. A big thanks to everyone who shared their testimony and everyone who helped me film. Enjoy!
